St Francis Marine was founded in 1988 in St Francis Bay, South Africa. The vision was clear in that the boats must be of the highest seaworthiness, provide a comfortable living space, and be the fastest cruising yacht in it’s class.

Nearly 40 years later the company is still owned by the original founders, with over 120 boats built.

All of them are still in commission today!

St Francis Marine has resisted the urge to scale up production, preferring to focus on a more bespoke service to buyers with the same principles of quality, seaworthiness and comfort. Both Models have fully enclose-able cockpits and for remote cruising, can be grounded and dried out on their keels.

We build our boats in vinylester resin with acrylic core and stitched fiberglass. There are carbon reinforcement points in various high load parts of the boat.

Our pricing is for a true sail-away yacht. Once launched there will be little for our clients to spend other than fuel.
